Cookies

We use the minimum number of cookies needed to make our marketing site and product work. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics by default.

What we set today

Our marketing site (clearmade.co — landing, features, compare, about, privacy, cookies) does not currently set any non-essential cookies. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or remarketing pixels by default.

Our authenticated product surfaces (dashboard, portal, Teams integration) use strictly-necessary session cookies to keep you signed in and to protect requests with cross-site request forgery tokens. Under UK PECR and GDPR these do not require prior consent because they are essential to the service you have signed up for.

Specific cookie names may vary as we evolve the product, but the categories above describe what we set.

If we add analytics later

If we introduce privacy-friendly analytics (for example, Plausible or similar) or any other non-essential tracking, we will:

  • present a consent banner on first visit with an active opt-in;
  • default to essential cookies only until you consent;
  • update this page to describe the new cookies, their purpose and duration;
  • give you a way to revisit and change your choice at any time.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can always clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the authenticated product surfaces from working, but will not affect the public marketing site.
